KSrelief Distributes Food Baskets in Sudan

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) distributed earlier this week 1,400 food baskets to the most needy and displaced families in River Nile State in the Republic of the Sudan, benefiting 11,700 individuals, as part of the Madad Sudan Project for 2026.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, has operated an air and sea bridge to provide relief to the brotherly Sudanese people since the onset of the humanitarian crisis. To date, this effort has included 13 aircraft and 60 vessels carrying food, shelter, health and environmental assistance, community support, humanitarian operations support, and volunteer programs. In addition, KSrelief has signed numerous agreements with international humanitarian organizations, with the total value of these efforts exceeding $125,566,000.
This assistance comes within the framework of the relief efforts provided by the Kingdom, through its humanitarian arm KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Sudanese people amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
