King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Delivers Food Baskets to in Southern Gaza Strip
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed food baskets to displaced people in the Al-Qarara area of the southern Gaza Strip, as part of the Saudi popular campaign to support the Palestinians in Gaza.
Field teams from the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, KSrelief’s implementing partner, supervised the distribution through a precise and well-organized mechanism designed to reach the largest possible number of families, particularly the most vulnerable groups, including women, children, and the elderly.
The beneficiary families expressed their deep gratitude to the Kingdom, its leadership, and its people for the humanitarian and relief assistance provided. They affirmed that this support has helped ease their daily suffering, embodies the highest values of compassion and human solidarity, and has had a profound impact on their lives.
KSrelief, the Kingdom's humanitarian arm, has established an air and sea bridge to deliver relief to the Palestinian people. To date, 78 aircraft and eight ships have transported more than 7,706 tons of food, medical supplies, and shelter materials. In addition, 914 Saudi relief trucks have arrived in the Gaza Strip carrying food, shelter, medical equipment, and other essentials, and 20 ambulances have been delivered to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. The center has also signed agreements with international organizations to implement relief projects in the Gaza Strip valued at $90.35 million. Airdrops have been conducted in partnership with Jordan to bypass border closures and ensure the delivery of aid.
These efforts reaffirm the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment, through its humanitarian arm, to supporting the Palestinian people in times of crisis and hardship.
