MWL Secretary-General Receives President of Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan

Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Alissa received here President of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan Firdavs Abdukhalikov and his accompanying delegation.

 Alissa underscored the center’s vital role in promoting Islamic civilization, particularly in addressing misunderstandings and combating negative stereotypes.

 Abdukhalikov expressed, on behalf of the Republic of Uzbekistan, his pride and appreciation for the MWL's efforts within the Islamic community and its esteemed international reputation. He also praised Alissa’s representation of Muslim peoples during his speech at the inaugural observance of the International Day to Combat Islamophobia at United Nations headquarters, held at the invitation of the General Assembly.
