Top Billiards Stars Gather in Jeddah for $1 Million Showdown

 Jeddah is set to welcome the world’s top billiards stars for the prestigious World Nine-Ball Championship, taking place on the Red Sea coast from July 21 to 26.

 More than 100 top-ranked players will compete for nearly $1 million in prizes at the tournament, organized by the Saudi Billiard and Snooker Federation. The event is part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the sports sector and boost summer tourism.

 Hosting the championship is a testament to Saudi Arabia’s growing capability and infrastructure to stage major international tournaments, especially following the success of the previous edition. This year’s event coincides with Jeddah Season, which is drawing large numbers of tourists from both within the Kingdom and abroad.
