
WAMY Launches 11th Medical Convoy to Maroua, Cameroon
The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has launched its 11th medical convoy to the city of Maroua in Cameroon, featuring a specialized medical team focused on ophthalmology and eye surgery.
The medical team performed 330 surgeries, including cataract removals and treatments for various eye diseases. It also conducted 842 medical examinations, such as vision tests, and developed treatment plans for patients in remote areas.
This convoy is part of WAMY’s ongoing health programs across the African continent, reinforcing its humanitarian and developmental mission to serve impoverished communities and alleviate their suffering.
