Dr. Al-Issa Launches the “Enhanced” Strategic Plan and “Updated” Governance Framework of the Muslim World League
His Excellency the Secretary General of the Muslim World League and President of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, officially launched the MWL's enhanced strategic plan and updated governance framework during a formal ceremony held at the MWL's headquarters in Makkah. The event was attended by the MWL's leadership and a number of Islamic figures based in the Holy City.
This enhancement and update come in alignment with the MWL's evolving role, particularly in light of the expansion of its international programs. These include the activation of the Makkah Charter and the Document on Building Bridges Between Islamic Schools of Thought.
In his opening address, Dr. Al-Issa emphasized that the launch reflects a focused effort on strategic development and governance modernization, both of which aim to reinforce the MWL's vision, mission, goals, and core values. He further affirmed that the foundational principles upon which the MWL was established — as enshrined in its statute — remain firm, and that all capabilities and planning efforts will continue to be dedicated to their enhancement and advancement.
