185 Falcons Compete in Qualifying Heats for Local Professionals on Day Seven of King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival

A total of 185 falcons competed yesterday on the festival’s seventh day. They took part in six qualifying heats for local professional falconers in the Milwah Race at the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025. The festival is the world’s largest gathering of falcons.

 Organized by the Saudi Falcons Club at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, the festival runs from December 25, 2025, to January 10, 2026. It draws wide participation from local and international falconers.

 The festival features 139 rounds and offers 1,012 prizes with a total value exceeding SAR38 million, across two main competitions: the Milwah Race (400 meters) and the Mazayen Beauty Contest.

 The Milwah Race includes categories for owners, amateurs, professionals and elite competitors, with rounds designated for local falconers and others for international participants. The Mazayen Beauty Contest focuses on falcon beauty based on precise standards.
