Saudi Designer Showcases AlUla’s Cultural Identity on Global Stage

A Saudi designer has transformed her early passion for art and fashion into a steadily evolving academic and professional career that reflects the beauty and cultural identity of AlUla. Through her creative work, she produces designs that embody the region’s authenticity and draw inspiration from the Kingdom’s rich cultural and natural heritage.

 Dalal Al-Juhani began her design journey at a young age and has since represented the Kingdom at numerous local and international events. Through these platforms, she has showcased Saudi creativity and contributed to highlighting the Kingdom’s cultural and artistic wealth. Her achievements include receiving a gold medal at the International Invention and Trade Expo in London (ITE 2024) for her innovative tour guide uniform designed using AI. She also earned additional gold medals from Romania and Croatia at the same expo.

 Al-Juhani emphasized her commitment to integrating the Kingdom’s abundant natural resources with distinguished national industries as key elements in building a creative identity that expresses cultural uniqueness and reflects the richness and diversity of the local environment. She also highlighted the Kingdom’s strong support for its citizens through cultural and artistic authorities, noting that initiatives such as scholarships, training programs, and high-quality educational opportunities have played a vital role in nurturing national talents. These efforts have strengthened the presence of Saudi creatives in cultural and artistic sectors and enabled them to excel and further develop their creative potential.
