The event aims to showcase the importance of wetlands in the Kingdom and their role in biodiversity conservation. It will highlight national initiatives for preserving these sensitive ecosystems, present innovations and solutions for sustainable management based on modern environmental data, and foster international and regional cooperation frameworks.

The NCW is also participating with a special pavilion in the exhibition accompanying the conference. Through its pavilion, the NCW will display prominent wetland sites in the Kingdom, such as salt flats, coastal areas, and mangrove forests. It will also highlight their environmental, social, economic, and cultural values through interactive content, showcasing the diversity and importance of such environments.
