Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Meets with Kazakh Counterpart
Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef met today in Astana with Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yersayin Nagaspayev. The two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors and develop investment partnerships between the two countries, in a manner that serves their mutual interests.
The meeting addressed opportunities to expand cooperation in the mining and mineral resources sector, capitalize on investment opportunities in strategic minerals, strengthen partnerships between the private sectors of both countries, support cooperation in mining value chains and related industries, and exchange expertise, knowledge, and modern technologies to contribute to the sector's development and enhance its competitiveness.
The meeting also reviewed opportunities to enhance industrial cooperation in several promising sectors, develop investment partnerships, and exchange expertise in manufacturing and processing industries.
It further explored ways to leverage shared experiences and expertise in developing industries based on natural resources and enhancing their added value.
This will support the industrial and mining development goals of both the Kingdom and Kazakhstan and open new horizons for economic partnerships between the two friendly nations.
