Umm Al-Qura University to Host 26th Hajj, Umrah and Visit Research Forum in September

 Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Umm Al-Qura University will organize the 26th Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah and Visit Research on Rabi' Al-Awwal 20-21, 1448 AH (September 2-3, 2026).
 The forum will bring together researchers, academics, experts, and specialists from across the Hajj, Umrah, and visit ecosystem at King Abdulaziz Historical Hall on the university's Al-Abidiyah campus.
 University President Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab said the royal patronage reflects the leadership's commitment to supporting scientific research and innovation and harnessing their outcomes to serve pilgrims while advancing national efforts to further develop the Hajj, Umrah, and visit ecosystem. He emphasized that these efforts align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program and contribute to the development of innovative scientific and technological solutions aimed at enhancing the experience of Hajj pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors while enriching its religious, cultural, and humanitarian dimensions.
 The forum will be accompanied by a scientific and knowledge exhibition showcasing key initiatives, services, innovations, and research related to Hajj, Umrah, and visit services. The fourth edition of the Hajjathon innovation competition will also be held on the sidelines of the forum.
 Drawing students, researchers, thinkers, and entrepreneurs, the Hajjathon aims to develop innovative ideas and solutions that strengthen integration among academic, research, and executive institutions. The initiative is designed to stimulate the development of high-impact scientific solutions that support national development objectives and respond to the rapidly evolving needs of the Hajj, Umrah, and visit sector.
 The forum reflects the strong support and care the leadership provides to the Hajj, Umrah, and visit sector and the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing services for pilgrims according to the highest international standards.
