Three Mongolian Falcons Fetch Over SAR1.1 Million at Riyadh International Exhibition Auction
The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition saw sales totaling SAR1,190,000 for three Mongolian falcons during its auction's fourth session yesterday.
Bidding for the first falcon started at SAR100,000 before fetching SAR600,000—marking the highest single-falcon sale at the event this year to date. The second falcon sold for SAR320,000, while the session concluded with the sale of the third falcon for SAR270,000.
For the second consecutive year, the exhibition features a dedicated zone for Mongolian falcons, reflecting high regional interest in the breed. Renowned for their imposing size, wide wingspan, stamina, and diverse plumage, the falcons attract broad competition among regional falconers and reinforce the event's international reach.
Organized by the National Center for Falcons, the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026 runs through October 10 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham.
