Municipalities Ministry Finalizes Preparations for Rainy Season with Preventive Plans

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has finalized its operational and field plans for this year’s rainy season through an integrated system executed by regional secretariats and municipalities across the Kingdom.

 According to the ministry, municipalities have activated their operations centers and emergency rooms to operate 24/7, ensuring continuous monitoring of incoming reports and swift responses.

 Field teams, machinery, and equipment have been prepared to address water pooling and flood-prone areas, as well as to carry out necessary preventive maintenance on drainage networks, culverts and bridges.

 The ministry urged citizens and residents to cooperate by promptly reporting water pooling and related observations via the unified number 940 and the Balady platform.
