Ministry of Tourism Launches Smart Accommodation Service for Pilgrims

The Ministry of Tourism launched its smart accommodation service for pilgrims as part of a developmental initiative coinciding with the Hajj season, within the ministry’s efforts to enhance operational efficiency and improve the quality of services provided.

 The service aims to ensure pilgrims' comfort through advanced digital solutions powered by AI and Internet of Things technologies, contributing to an efficient hospitality experience.

 Spokesperson for the ministry Nasr Al-Ansari said the smart accommodation service aims to enhance the efficiency of receiving and accommodating pilgrims in real time. He noted that the service helps reduce waiting times upon arrival at accommodation facilities by enabling the advance sharing of pilgrim data with housing providers.

 The launch of this service reflects the Ministry of Tourism’s continued commitment to enhancing the pilgrim experience and enabling them to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind by adopting modern technologies.
