KACST Receives International ISO Quality Certification

 King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) obtained the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management System after meeting the approved international requirements and standards in project portfolio governance, project management methodologies development, performance monitoring, and strategic initiative management.
 According to a press release issued by the KACST today, the achievement underscores the commitment of KACST's Enterprise Project Management Office to implementing global best practices in project management, enhancing operational efficiency, raising quality standards, and achieving the highest levels of institutional excellence in alignment with its development and institutional transformation objectives.
 The ISO 9001:2015 certification is an international standard granted to organizations that implement an effective quality management system, ensuring performance improvement, enhanced stakeholder satisfaction, and the promotion of a culture of continuous improvement.
 The release added that the accreditation also reflects the commitment of KACST's National Laboratory and Innovation Oases to strengthening governance, fostering a culture of quality and excellence, and supporting the efficient implementation of its institutional strategy, thereby contributing to leadership in the fields of science, technology, and innovation.
