Marine Fishing, Traditional Crafts Featured at International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition
Marine fishing heritage is making its debut at the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026, with a showcase featuring a prominent sailing vessel surrounded by stations for boat-building, net-making, and rope-twisting, crafts and skills passed down through generations.
The area offers visitors a glimpse into traditional marine fishing expeditions, with artisans demonstrating each craft. The vessel displays various artifacts and tools once carried on board, evoking the lifestyle of sailors and fishermen and illustrating how the tools were used.
The inclusion of marine fishing is part of the exhibition's diverse experiences and zones this year. The areas highlight aspects of hunting, heritage, and traditional crafts, allowing visitors to explore practices and skills deeply rooted in the lives of Saudi Arabia's residents and preserved across generations.
The event runs from October 1 to 10 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh.
