Saudi Media Forum 2026 Signs Excellence Partnership with the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia
The Saudi Media Forum has signed a partnership agreement with the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia, the organizer of the Saudi Cup, to serve as the forum’s Excellence Partner for its fifth edition scheduled for February 2 to 4.
The Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia, founded in 1965, is the official body responsible for regulating and developing horse racing in the Kingdom. The club oversees racing at King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Riyadh and King Khalid Racecourse in Taif and continues to advance Saudi Arabia’s position in the global equestrian industry.
The Saudi Media Forum has become a leading annual platform for media professionals and decision-makers. The 2026 edition, held under the theme “Media in a Shaping World,” will feature more than 150 sessions and over 300 speakers. The event reflects the Kingdom’s rapidly developing cultural and media landscape and its growing role as a regional hub for industry dialogue.
The Saudi Cup, one of the world’s premier horse racing events, will take place on February 13 and 14 at King Abdulaziz Racecourse. The main race offers a $20 million purse, making it the richest horse race in the world, with total prize money reaching $39.6 million. The event attracts top horses, jockeys, and owners from around the world and blends sport, culture, and entertainment.
The event supports Saudi Vision 2030 by boosting tourism, expanding major international events, and strengthening the Kingdom’s presence in global sports. It also reinforces Riyadh’s position as a leading destination for high-profile competitions.
