Mawhiba Invites Students to Register for Kangaroo Math Competition
The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), in partnership with the Ministry of Education, has opened registration for the Kangaroo Mawhiba Math Competition through April 7 via its official website and app, with the main event scheduled for April 17 and 18.
Open to students from the third grade of elementary school through the third grade of high school, the annual event uses a multiple-choice format tailored to specific grade levels to challenge and inspire young mathematicians.
Originally founded in Australia in 1980, the Kangaroo competition is now one of the world's largest scientific contests, involving around six million students across 70 countries. The initiative aims to enhance problem-solving skills and demonstrate the practical application of mathematical concepts in a competitive and enjoyable learning environment.
