King Abdulaziz Complex for Endowment Libraries Explores Use of AI Agents in Scientific Research

King Abdulaziz Complex for Endowment Libraries continues to offer its artificial intelligence program for researchers online as part of AI Week, coinciding with the designation of 2026 as the Year of Artificial Intelligence.
The second session focused on using AI agents to read scientific sources, aimed at promoting the use of modern technologies in scientific research and supporting knowledge resources in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Following the opening session, the program attracted 12,343 registered researchers from 100 countries. More than two-thirds of registrants hold master's or doctoral degrees and represent universities, government entities, research centers, and various sectors inside and outside the Kingdom.
The program runs through Thursday, October 22, and features three scientific sessions covering artificial intelligence in scientific research, its use in serving manuscripts, and the future of libraries in the age of artificial intelligence. It will conclude with an open session discussing anticipated transformations in the field.
