MCIT Launches Second Edition of Corporate Innovation Program to Empower Companies and Unlock New Growth Opportunities

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), through its Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE), in partnership with Plug and Play, has launched the second edition of the Corporate Innovation Program (CVC). The program aims to empower leaders of Saudi companies to adopt open innovation methodologies and develop collaboration and investment models with startups, helping expand their businesses and strengthen their competitiveness in the digital economy.
The program focuses on building corporate capabilities to move beyond awareness of the importance of innovation toward embedding it as a structured organizational practice. It equips participants with practical tools and frameworks to explore technologies and ideas both within and outside their organizations and transform them into technology-driven solutions and ventures that unlock new growth opportunities and strengthen collaboration between companies and the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The program will feature in-person executive workshops in Riyadh from November 23 to 25, 2026, combining specialized knowledge with practical application. The workshops will address innovation as a strategic corporate priority, corporate venture capital models, startup solutions adoption through customer relationships, and strategic partnerships. They will also include hands-on exercises and international case studies to help participants define their organizations’ innovation strategies, select models aligned with their objectives, and identify priority collaboration opportunities.
The program is expected to enhance Saudi companies’ ability to adopt emerging technologies and develop new technology-driven businesses, while expanding startups’ access to partnerships and markets. These efforts will support the growth of the technology innovation ecosystem and strengthen its contribution to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
