Arab Parliament Speaker Condemns Israeli Minister's Storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque
Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al-Yamahi strongly condemned the storming of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque by a minister in the Israeli occupation government under the protection of occupation forces, as well as the continued closure of the mosque and the prevention of worshippers from entering.
In a statement issued today, he stressed that this escalation comes at a highly sensitive time, reflecting attempts to impose a new reality by force and to undermine the historical and legal status quo at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
He emphasized that these actions constitute a grave violation of international humanitarian law and a provocation to the sentiments of the Arab and Islamic nations, warning of the consequences of continuing such policies on regional security and stability.
Al-Yamahi called on the international community, the United Nations Security Council, and international organizations to take urgent action, assume their responsibilities, and adopt measures to halt these violations and hold those responsible accountable.
