Azerbaijan Prepares to Host IsDB Group Annual Meetings 2026

As preparations advance in Baku for the 2026 Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group Annual Meetings, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy and Chairman of the IsDB Board of Governors Mikayil Jabbarov, accompanied by Chairman of the IsDB Group Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, visited the Baku Convention Center to review the final arrangements for the event.

 During the visit, they met with the organizing committee and reviewed the center's readiness to welcome delegates from the IsDB's 57 member countries.

 The annual meetings will be held from June 16 to 19, 2026, under the theme "Regional Integration for Sustainable Prosperity." The event will bring together ministers of finance, economy, international development, and planning, as well as development partners and private-sector leaders. Participants will discuss shared development priorities and explore practical solutions to key socioeconomic challenges facing member countries.

 The event will also include high-level panel discussions, networking opportunities, exhibitions, and knowledge-sharing activities.

 Discussions will address major development priorities, including Islamic finance, trade and connectivity, youth employment, climate resilience, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, sukuk, innovation, health security, and social protection systems.
