The report also revealed that STC and Mobily led the rankings for best response time in seven games: Marvel Rivals, eFootball, Counter Strike, Overwatch 2, PUBG Mobile, Dota 2, and Rainbow Six Siege. Meanwhile, Mobily topped the list in ten games: Call of Duty, PUBG, EA Sports FC, FREE FIRE, Valorant, Honor of Kings, Fortnite, Rocket League, Call of Duty Mobile, and StarCraft 2. On the other hand, STC ranked first in two games: Mobile Legends and League of Legends.
In addition, the report shared practical guidelines to improve internet quality for online gaming, including tips for setting up home networks and optimizing the performance of connected devices. It also explained how users can play an active role in the Game Mode initiative by registering for the “Meqyas” FTTH Internet Device, which enables them to track their internet performance, including the quality of leading apps and games. The report is updated quarterly to reflect the latest trending games and their performance metrics, while also showcasing telecom providers’ contributions to supporting the gaming community.
The initiative is part of CST’s efforts to enhance competition among telecom service providers, deliver an optimal gaming experience, increase transparency by publishing performance data and indicators, and provide investors and stakeholders with valuable insights into the gaming sector’s performance in the Kingdom.
