IMCTC Launches ‘Support’ Initiative to Provide Military Equipment to Counterterrorism Forces in Togo
The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) launched in Lomé, the capital of Togo, the “Support” initiative for providing military equipment to forces designated for counterterrorism operations.
This comes within the framework of the IMCTC’s strategic initiatives under its military domain, aimed at enhancing the readiness of member states' national forces and raising their operational efficiency in confronting terrorist threats.
The initiative's launch ceremony was attended by Minister of Security and Civil Protection of the Republic of Togo Calixte Batossie Madjoulba, and IMCTC Secretary General Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi, alongside a number of senior officials, diplomatic and military figures, as well as a distinguished group of specialists and those with interest in security and military affairs.
The initiative comes within the framework of the IMCTC’s continuous efforts to enhance the military capabilities of member states and support their operational readiness in the field of counterterrorism, through the provision of specialized military equipment and supplies, modern technologies, and comprehensive logistical support that contributes to raising the efficiency of field performance and enhancing the effectiveness of forces designated for counterterrorism operations.
