SFD Participates in Inauguration of Road Project in Liberia

Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) CEO Sultan Al-Marshad participated in the inauguration of the Gbarnga-Salayea Road Project in the Republic of Liberia, attended by President Joseph Boakai, with SFD contributing $20 million to the project's financing.
 The project aims to develop Liberia's transport infrastructure through the construction of an 81-kilometer road, along with stormwater drainage facilities, bridges, safety elements, and a load measurement station, enhancing the efficiency of the road network and supporting economic and sustainable development.
 Since 1978, SFD has financed four development projects and programs in Liberia through concessional development loans totaling more than $58.8 million, supporting vital development sectors.
