Buraidah Date Carnival Returns in August, Showcasing Qassim’s Role in Vision 2030 Agriculture
Qassim Region is gearing up to host the annual Buraidah Date Carnival in early August, a major agricultural, economic, and tourism event that will run for 60 days at Buraidah Dates City.
Organized by the National Center for Palms and Dates and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the festival is held under the supervision of Qassim Principality.
The carnival highlights the region’s leading role in the agricultural sector and date marketing, supported by the city’s integrated infrastructure, which includes agricultural, heritage, tourism, and entertainment facilities. The event aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to boost the agricultural sector, enhance food security, and increase local content.
