
KSrelief Clinics Provide Healthcare to 11,941 Patients in Jordan's Zaatari Camp in May
The clinics of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered healthcare services to 11,941 patients in the Zaatari refugee camp for Syrians in Jordan in May.
The General Medicine Clinics treated 3,727 patients, while the Internal Medicine Clinic saw 515 patients suffering from diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. The Pediatric Clinics received 1,133 patients, and the Dental Clinic attended to 708 patients.
Additionally, the two gynecology clinics welcomed 1,130 women, and the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic treated 266 patients with various infections, including those of the sinuses, pharynx, tonsils, and middle ear. The Ophthalmology Clinic saw 278 patients, while the Cardiology Clinic attended to 79 patients. The Diagnostic Radiology Clinic served 185 patients, and the Dermatology Clinic treated 157 patients. Moreover, the Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic assisted 152 patients.
Throughout the month, 11,213 laboratory tests were conducted for 1,285 patients, and 985 imaging procedures, including X-rays and ultrasounds, were performed for 808 patients. The Vaccination Clinic administered 534 vaccines. Health education sessions, both individual and group, totaled 262, and 722 physical therapy sessions were conducted. The Pharmacy recorded 6,860 prescriptions during this period.
