KSrelief Supervisor General Meets with UN WFP Acting Executive Director

Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah met today at the center's headquarters in Riyadh with Acting Executive Director of the UN World Food Programme (WFP) Carl Skau.

 The two sides discussed matters of mutual interest related to humanitarian and relief affairs and ways to enhance prospects for cooperation between KSrelief and WFP in providing food assistance to affected groups worldwide.

 Following the meeting, Skau visited the offices of KSrelief's partner organizations and international bodies, accompanied by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed Al-Baiz.

 In a press statement, Skau praised the strategic partnership between KSrelief and WFP spanning more than a decade, describing it as comprehensive and deep — extending beyond financial support to include exchange of ideas, innovation, and humanitarian diplomacy. He noted that discussions covered joint humanitarian operations, particularly in Sudan, where parts of the country are facing famine, as well as the humanitarian situation in Yemen, Syria, and Gaza.
