Palestinian Foreign Ministry Calls on International Community to Prevent Forced Displacement in Occupied Jerusalem

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has called on the international community to take decisive action to prevent the forced displacement of Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem. It warned that over 200 families in East Jerusalem face imminent eviction due to lawsuits mainly filed by settler organizations.
In a statement, the Palestinian ministry condemned the recent eviction of 15 families in Silwan and the demolition orders for seven homes in Qalandiya. These actions, it argued, are part of a plan to Judaize the holy city and alter its demographic composition.
The ministry emphasized the need for international support to stop these violations and protect the rights of the Palestinian people.
