KSrelief Launches Aman Project for Orphans in Aleppo’s Akhtarin
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Tuesday launched the Aman Project for Orphans in the town of Akhtarin in Syria's Aleppo Governorate.
This initiative represents a significant step in supporting vulnerable groups, particularly orphans living in crisis-affected areas. The project will provide monthly sponsorships for 600 orphans and empower 150 mothers of orphans through skills training in sewing, livestock farming, dairy and cheese production, and food processing.
The project aims to meet the essential needs of orphans by providing school uniforms, seasonal clothing for winter and summer, and hygiene kits. It will also offer psychological support to orphans affected by displacement, forced migration, and the aftermath of earthquakes, helping them transition to a safer and more stable life.
This initiative is part of the Kingdom’s humanitarian and relief efforts, carried out through KSrelief, to support orphaned children worldwide and alleviate their suffering.
