KSrelief Clinics Launch First Thalassemia, Blood Disorders Screening Unit at Zaatari Camp
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched thalassemia and blood disorder screenings for Syrian refugees at its clinics in Jordan’s Zaatari Camp.
As the first accredited unit of its kind within the camp, this initiative is part of KSrelief’s ongoing commitment to providing specialized healthcare and supporting vulnerable groups to alleviate the hardships of those residing in the camp.
Since launching in September, the initiative has conducted 108 screenings. By facilitating early detection through precise diagnostics, the program ensures timely treatment and significantly enhances the health outcomes and quality of life for affected children.
