Al-Jouf Region is witnessing growing diversity in agricultural crops, supported by its natural resources and agricultural environment that have contributed to the success of numerous farming experiences, including beet cultivation, which has begun to gain notable interest among several farm owners and those interested in the region’s agricultural sector.

During a field tour, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) observed several farms that have begun experimenting with beet cultivation as part of plans to diversify agricultural production. These farms benefit from fertile soil and favorable weather conditions, which have contributed to good results in crop quality and growth efficiency.

Naif Al-Ruwaili, owner of one of the farms, said the beet cultivation experience came as part of his interest in expanding diverse agricultural practices and in trying crops suited to the region's nature. He noted that Al-Jouf has agricultural potential that has contributed to the success of many crops in recent years.

He added that agricultural diversity in the region has enhanced the expertise of workers in the agricultural sector, helped raise local production levels, and helped make use of Al-Jouf’s environmental advantages.
