King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Distributes Food Baskets in Afghanistan
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed over 555 food baskets to returnees from neighboring countries, internally displaced persons, needy families, and orphans in Gardez, the capital of Paktia province, and the Razmat district of the same province in Afghanistan. These baskets benefited more than 3,340 individuals from at least 550 families, as part of the fifth phase of the Food Basket Project in Afghanistan for 2026, under the Food Security and Emergency Project for Afghanistan for 2026.
This initiative is an extension of the relief and humanitarian projects and programs implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to assist the brotherly Afghan people and alleviate their suffering during the holy month of Ramadan.
