International Partnership Boosts Kingdom’s Global Industrial diversification

Riyadh is set to host Riyadh International Industry Week 2026 from June 21 to 24 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC). The event will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and organized by Riyadh Exhibitions Company (REC).

More than 400 exhibitors from over 20 countries are expected to take part despite the geo political situation.

A strategic partnership with Germany’s Messe Düsseldorf is a central feature of this year’s edition. The partnership adds an additional international dimension to the event by joining the network of the number one global trade fairs in three key industrial sectors: Plastics and Petrochemicals, Processing and Packaging, and Printing.  This partnership further confirms Riyadh’s role as a regional platform for industrial development.

From Düsseldorf to Riyadh

Founded in Germany in 1947, Messe Düsseldorf is one of the world’s major organizers of international trade fairs and business exhibitions. Düsseldorf hosts around 40 trade fairs each year, including about 20 events regarded as global leaders in their respective industries.

Among its most prominent exhibitions are K, a leading global trade fair for plastics and rubber; Interpack, a major international platform for processing and packaging; and Drupa, one of the world’s foremost events for printing technologies. These exhibitions form the basis of the industrial partnership between Messe Düsseldorf and Riyadh Exhibitions Company.

In 2026, the three global leaders objective is to expand the international participation of the latest technologies and solutions from around the world in Saudi Plastics & Petrochem and Saudi Print & Pack, both in their 21st editions,

A Platform for Cooperation and Investment

The partnership goes beyond hosting specialized exhibitions. It connects the Saudi market with a global network of manufacturers, investors, and experts.

As global benchmarks in their sectors, K, interpack, and drupa attract senior decision-makers and leading international companies. This gives investors and entrepreneurs in the Kingdom direct access to the latest technologies and industrial trends, while strengthening opportunities for international cooperation and partnerships.

An International Conference and Knowledge Program

Alongside the exhibitions, the event will feature an international conference beginning on June 22, with panel discussions and specialized workshops covering key industrial issues.

The program will cover efforts to reduce carbon emissions, the circular economy, sustainability, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and industrial investment opportunities. It will also examine ways to strengthen the competitiveness of Saudi factories and showcase the latest technologies and applied solutions in the sector.

Aligned with Vision 2030 Objectives

Riyadh International Industry Week comes as Saudi Arabia continues to implement programs aimed at developing its industrial sector, increasing local content, and diversifying the national economy.

The event reflects the Kingdom’s drive to expand its industrial capabilities and adopt advanced technologies. The partnership between Riyadh and Düsseldorf also underscores a long-term strategic direction expected to support industrial knowledge transfer, and broader international cooperation in the years ahead.

The exhibition will be open to visitors and industry professionals daily from 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Registration to attend Riyadh International Industry Week is available at: https://recregister.com
