Saudi Air Connectivity Program Participates in CAPA Airline Leader Summit Asia

The Air Connectivity Program participated today in the CAPA Airline Leader Summit Asia in Hong Kong, one of the premier gatherings for aviation leaders from all over the world.
In a dialogue session titled “Global Aviation Trends: Impact on Asia Future”, Air Connectivity Program Executive Director Majid Khan highlighted the opportunities and services offered by Saudi Arabia’s tourism and aviation sectors for international market entry.
Khan said that in response to increasing demand for air travel to Saudi Arabia, the program is focused on developing routes that connect to the Kingdom’s 29 airports, as well as on establishing new direct air routes, in support of the strategic goal of attracting 150 million tourists by 2030.
Launched in 2021, the Air Connectivity Program aims to bolster Saudi Arabia's tourism sector by enhancing global air connectivity. It plays a critical role in the National Tourism Strategy and the National Aviation Strategy, working to develop current and potential air routes that link Saudi Arabia to new destinations worldwide.
The Air Connectivity Program fosters collaboration and builds partnerships between key public and private sector stakeholders, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as a premier global destination for tourism-focused air connectivity.
