Scouts Enhance Worshipper Experience at Grand Mosque During Ramadan

Scouts participating in the Ramadan service camp organized by the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association are volunteering at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, using maps issued by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques to guide worshippers to service locations such as entrances, restrooms, and elevators.
Building on their experience from previous Hajj seasons, the scouts are well acquainted with these maps, which help them assist lost worshippers and direct them to accommodations in Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah.
Scout leaders emphasize that map-reading is a fundamental skill taught early in the scouting movement, enabling scouts to provide efficient assistance. These efforts highlight the collaboration between the agencies serving the two holy mosques and the scout volunteers, enhancing the overall experience for pilgrims and allowing them to perform their rituals with ease.
