Saudi-Algerian Technical Committee for Maritime Transport, Ports Concludes First Session

Jeddah successfully hosted the first session of the Saudi-Algerian Technical Committee for Maritime Transport and Ports, held from April 28 to 30.

 During the three-day session, the committee explored ways to enhance cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Algeria in maritime transport and port operations. Discussions covered various topics of mutual interest, including the implementation of the cooperation agreement signed between the two countries in this field.

 As part of their visit, the Algerian delegation toured the TGA's branch in Makkah to learn about the Ebhar platform for yacht tourism, which manages all procedures of entry, sailing, and departure of yachts from Saudi territorial waters.

 The delegation conducted a field tour of Jeddah Islamic Port, where they observed the monitoring and inspection systems in place.

 Moreover, the delegation held a meeting with the management of the Faculty of Maritime Studies at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah to discuss academic cooperation between the two sides.
