Foreign Minister Meets Syrian Counterpart in Germany
Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met today with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic Asaad Al-Shaibani and the accompanying Syrian delegation participating in the Munich Security Conference 2026, on the sidelines of the conference.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples. They also reiterated their welcome of the comprehensive agreement in Syria, which provides for the integration of the Autonomous Administration’s institutions into those of the Syrian state, and affirmed their support for all efforts made by the Syrian government to preserve Syria’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
The meeting also discussed the latest regional developments and efforts to achieve security, stability, and development.
The meeting was attended by Director-General of the General Administration for Policy Planning Prince Dr. Abdullah bin Khaled bin Saud Al‑Kabeer.
