Riyadh Hosts Indian Culture Week as Part of 'Global Harmony 2' Initiative

The Ministry of Media launched the second edition of the "Global Harmony 2" initiative yesterday evening. This initiative is part of the Quality of Life Program, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

The event began with Indian Culture Week at Al Suwaidi Park in Riyadh and will be followed by a series of cultural weeks celebrating 14 diverse cultures, featuring over 100 artists from various nationalities.

The initiative aims to showcase the lives of residents in the Kingdom, highlighting their professional and family lives, social activities, contributions to the economy, and success stories. It also emphasizes cultural richness and integration with Saudi society, along with efforts by the government and private sectors to enhance the quality of life in the Kingdom’s cities.

Indian Culture Week, which runs until November 10, offers a rich experience, blending folk arts, heritage performances, music, fashion, and traditional cuisine, along with activities for children.

The ministry invited residents from the Indian community and others to attend, noting that the initiative serves as a cultural bridge reflecting the Kingdom’s role in fostering communication between peoples and promoting global creativity.

Indian Culture Week features activities that showcase the depth of Indian heritage, including traditional performances, handicraft workshops, and henna art experiences.
