KSrelief Concludes Volunteer Cardiac Surgery, Catheterization Project in Yemen
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has concluded its volunteer medical project for cardiac surgery and catheterization in the Mukalla District of Hadhramout Governorate, Yemen.
The initiative, held from October 25 to November 1, brought together a team of 15 volunteers from various medical specialties to provide advanced cardiac care to patients.
The center’s volunteer medical team performed 33 open-heart surgeries, 80 interventional cardiac catheterizations, and 18 diagnostic catheterizations.
The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, implemented through KSrelief, to provide specialized medical support to vulnerable communities in Yemen.
