New Aid Convoy Provided by KSrelief Arrives in Gaza Strip
A new humanitarian aid convoy provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) arrived in the Gaza Strip yesterday, carrying large quantities of tents as part of the Saudi public campaign to support the Palestinian people in the enclave.
The convoy arrives at a time when hundreds of thousands of displaced people are facing extremely difficult living conditions in camps and temporary shelters, after many families who lost their homes were forced to live in tents or locations lacking the minimum requirements for a dignified life.
The aid was received by the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, KSrelief's implementing partner in the Gaza Strip. The newly delivered tents are expected to help provide shelter for displaced families, particularly amid soaring summer temperatures, as many families continue to endure harsh conditions in worn-out tents and overcrowded temporary settlements.
Field teams from the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage will distribute the tents according to a field plan targeting the most vulnerable displaced families across various displacement areas, helping to ease their suffering and strengthen their ability to cope with the ongoing humanitarian challenges.
