Riyadh Region Mayor, Moscow Government Minister Discuss Cooperation

 Riyadh Region Mayor Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf met Tuesday at his office with Moscow Government Minister and Department for Foreign Economic Activity and International Relations Head Sergey Cheryomin and his delegation.

 The meeting participants discussed prospects for developing relations between Riyadh and Moscow, setting priorities for future partnership, and exploring the formation of a working group to exchange expertise between the two cities' specialists.

 Discussions highlighted Moscow's experience in digital transformation and smart cities, including the Moscow Digital Twin project, alongside cooperation in urban management and data technologies.

 Moreover, the officials discussed Moscow's experience in hosting major international events, including the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and ways to draw on it as Saudi Arabia prepares to host the 2034 edition. Talks also covered enhancing mutual participation in joint events and initiatives.
