KFSH Performs 10 Kidney Transplants Through 'Let’s Support Them' Initiative
King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH) has performed 10 kidney transplants for patients with kidney failure, enabling them to receive specialized treatment and care while relieving them of the daily burden and ongoing complications associated with dialysis. The procedures were supported by Arab National Bank (anb) as part of its community initiative, “Let’s Support Them.”
It reflects anb’s commitment to its social role by supporting health-focused community initiatives with a lasting impact, improving patients’ quality of life and helping them regain their activity and return to family and working life.
Kidney transplantation is considered one of the most effective treatments for kidney failure, offering patients the opportunity to live healthier and more stable lives. It improves survival rates, enhances kidney function, reduces chronic complications associated with dialysis, and helps patients regain their daily routines and return to their family and professional lives with greater confidence.
The collaboration reflects a strong model of partnership between the healthcare and financial sectors in supporting initiatives that have a direct impact on patients’ lives. Both parties are also exploring opportunities to expand their cooperation into additional health and community programs in the future.
KFSH continues to advance its organ transplant program through specialized medical expertise, integrated pre- and post-transplant care, and advanced treatment capabilities that further improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care provided.
King Faisal Specialist Hospital has been ranked first in the Middle East and North Africa and 12th globally among the world’s top 250 Academic Medical Centers for 2026 and recognized as the most valuable healthcare brand in the Kingdom and the Middle East according to Brand Finance 2026. It has also been listed by Newsweek among the World’s Best Hospitals 2026, the World’s Best Smart Hospitals 2026, and the World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2026.
