Saudi Arabia Participates in Opening of UN Forum on Forests in New York

 Saudi Arabia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Alwasil participated today in the opening session of the 21st United Nations Forum on Forests (UNFF21), held at UN headquarters in New York.

 This year’s session discusses ways to promote sustainable forest management and its role in supporting sustainable development, while reviewing progress in implementing the United Nations Strategic Plan for Forests 2017–2030. The session brings together member states, international organizations, and environmental and development stakeholders.
