King Saud Medical City Pioneers Advanced Cardiac Pacing Technology in Saudi Arabia

King Saud Medical City (KSMC), part of the Riyadh First Health Cluster, has achieved a medical milestone by successfully performing its first two left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) pacemaker implantation procedures, the first cases performed at Ministry of Health hospitals in the Kingdom, using BIOTRONIK's latest pacing technology.

 This technology is one of the latest global advancements in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. It provides more physiological electrical stimulation of the heart and improves cardiac function, thereby contributing to better clinical outcomes for patients.

 Both procedures were completed without complications by a specialized team from the cardiac electrophysiology department. The procedures were carried out in accordance with the latest international medical standards and best practices.
