IMCTC Secretary-General Receives Nigerian Military Attaché

Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Major General Mohammed Al-Moghedi, today at the coalition’s headquarters in Riyadh, received the military attaché at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between IMCTC and Nigeria, particularly in combating terrorism and extremism, capacity building, and the exchange of expertise in military, intellectual, and media fields, in support of member states’ efforts and boosting their security and stability.

 Al-Moghedi praised Nigeria's active role within the coalition’s framework of joint action, affirming the coalition’s keenness to expand partnership and coordination with member states in line with its strategic objectives to confront terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

 For his part, the Nigerian military attaché expressed his appreciation for IMCTC's efforts and the qualitative programs and initiatives it offers to enhance readiness and strengthen integration among member states, stressing the importance of continued cooperation and coordination to address current security challenges.
