Quality of Life Program Center CEO Underscores Non-Profit Sector's Role in Well-Being
Quality of Life Program Center CEO Khalid Albaker underscored the non-profit sector's role in enhancing well-being in the Kingdom and commended the Future of the Nonprofit Sector Forum, held in Riyadh yesterday.
During a session, the CEO said a city's success is not measured by the scale of its construction, but by the positive changes it brings to residents' lives.
Regarding the Global Quality of Life Index, launched by the Quality of Life Program in collaboration with the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat), Albaker noted that data from residents' lived experiences reveals insights that urban master plans alone cannot capture.
He further highlighted the importance of the partnership between the government and non-profit sectors, describing the latter as a key partner in creating meaningful impact. Being closer to the residents, the non-profit sector is uniquely positioned to understand their needs.
