Al-Baha Sees 800 Coffee Seedlings Planted in Phase Two of Cultivation Initiative
The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture's regional branch in Al-Baha has completed the second phase of its coffee cultivation initiative, planting more than 800 coffee seedlings today in the Thee Ain Historical Village.
Part of the Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program (Saudi Reef) and the Saudi Green Initiative, in collaboration with the REEF National Foundation, the initiative seeks to plant 1,000 coffee trees to support farmers and enhance regional agricultural sustainability.
According to Director General of the Al-Baha branch Eng. Fahd Al-Zahrani, the initiative fosters the development of coffee as a promising crop, supports local farmers, and enhances productivity.
