'Humanizing Rafha': Program Enhancing Quality of Life
The Northern Borders Municipality, represented by Rafha Municipality, is implementing a comprehensive program aimed at "humanizing" the governorate. The initiative focuses on improving aesthetic and engineering standards for roads, public squares, parks, and walkways to ensure optimal traffic safety and pedestrian comfort.
The Humanizing Rafha project aims to revitalize several key areas within the northern governorate by increasing green spaces and preparing approximately 3 million square meters of parks and landscaped areas. This initiative seeks to provide recreational spaces that align with the aspirations of residents.
The project includes the creation of sports tracks for walking, the installation of recreational play areas in 43 public parks, and the addition of more than 50 fitness equipment stations.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) has documented progress across various sites in Rafha, showcasing the implementation of operational plans designed to improve quality of life and foster a balanced environment for residents.
Rafha Municipality emphasized that these efforts are part of its broader plans to humanize the governorate, enhance the efficiency of service and recreational facilities, and develop public recreational spaces tailored to the region’s nature and the needs of its residents and visitors. These initiatives align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes enhancing quality of life for all.
