
Human Resources Minister Renews Cooperation Agreement with ILO
Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi today signed an agreement to renew cooperation with the International Labour Organization (ILO).
It marks the launch of the third phase of the technical cooperation program between the two parties, taking place on the sidelines of the 113th session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva, Switzerland.
The agreement extends the constructive cooperation initiated in 2018 that aims to support the Kingdom's efforts to develop labor policies, enhance the work environment, and improve job quality, contributing to sustainable economic growth and aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 towards a vibrant, competitive, and inclusive labor market.
Al-Rajhi emphasized that renewing the strategic partnership embodies the Kingdom's firm commitment to developing the labor environment according to the highest international standards. It also reinforces the integration between national policies and global trends towards building an effective and attractive labor market that enhances human capital efficiency and boosts the national economy's competitiveness.
